Thanksgiving has come and gone, leaving us thankful for the many friends and relatives who so frequently and graciously open their doors to us. Without them we would not enjoy our gypsy lifestyle half as much.
A week and a half after arriving in Portland we headed south, and spent the holiday in San Francisco. The sun shone brightly while 14 people attacked a 28-pound turkey and reduced several bottles of wine to—well, to several empty bottles.
Yesterday we played tourist and fought the crowds on the waterfront for a share of the sunshine. On Monday we travel to Monterey.
